  I was just plain stupid. It was to placate to the ultra woke culture. When it happened to the "Master" character a few seasons ago, we long time fans just gasped and held our noses. Now, it's Doctor Who and some just said, "Enough, enough already!" I really tried to like the new episodes with Jodi but can't. And I love how these ultra woke 20 year olds try to tell me that it has been always possible for the Doctor to change his sex. I've been watching since the early 70's and nope, never happened! They took a one off line that was meant as a joke then poof, PC Doctor Who. Enjoy your shitty episodes and I will wait for it to be cancelled then hopefully it will be brought back after 10 years and it will be done right again.

  erm ... i'm not a mathematician, but aren't there 46 superbowls missing?.

  LOL at the softcore porn references. You all need to visit Miami Beach, or better yet Key West on a Friday evening. That show during the game was tame by comparison. BTW. I thought the show was blah. My all time favorite was U2 back in 2002.

  My sister and her best friend (Who are PIMI) like the "original" music they now put out. Note, this isn't the crap they sing at the hall, but fairly slick music that is found on the broadcast specials. As much as I hate the 'society', the music is much better than the crap in the past. Different styles, beats, and genres. When my sister was playing one of those songs in the car I was dumbfounded it was a JW song.

  I noticed 1 mistake. Pleasant Hills didn't merge with North Huntington. They merged with mainly Clairiton and some going to West Mifflin. North Huntington had Plum merging with them, then Plum dissolved.

  Which congregations in Pittsburgh? Do you know?

  Plum and Pleasant Hills were both merged and dissolved last year. West Mifflin/Clairton is losing their building this year to the turnpike, and from the Elders meeting last year it was insinuated that one of those congregations will merged, the other to share at another local hall. With renovations just being finished at Carrick and Braddock scheduled to be done at the end of February, It looks to be true.

  EDIT...I was also told the Avonmore KH was sold and the congregation was dissolved. I drove past there last month and the signs are down. I haven't been able to get a confirmation if they moved to another Hall, or was dissolved though. (That congregation is in Westmoreland County about 15 minutes from Plum)

  I know in the Pittsburgh area (the so-called birthplace of the JW's) there was about 4 congregations dissolved or merged last year. There are whisperings that more are coming to the area. I now for a fact there was a special elders meeting early last summer prepping the brothers about it.

  I was once "blessed" to be invited to attend an operational committee meeting for a remodel of our local KH. 4 hours! It was 4 hours long. The biggest sticking point? We had a local brother who had a wallpaper business. He wanted the hall to be wallpapered. Now, one of the reasons for the remodel was the 'baby room' and in other areas the old wall paper was peeling for various reasons. Many of the brothers wanted to get ride of it and just have dry wall throughout the Hall.This pompous ass of a brother went on for hours....hours, browbeating everyone until he got his way. I actually sat there appalled at his attitude. And I couldn't believe the other brothers gave into him. He wore them down. So they spent nearly 1/2 their remodeling budget on new wallpaper and shelved the new HVAC system (which WAS needed)! I asked one brother who I was close with after if that brother is always that pompous? He said no, he usually is way worse.
